Really like Backspaces! One thing, are you planning on introducing the ability to apply filters to images already taken rather than just one’s you take at the time? That would pretty much set you up as a straight alternative to Instagram : )

Oh man, I have had so many people start following me since yesterday. I was a little confused… My work had an Instagram account, I haven’t yet broke the news to the rest of the Social Media team.

I joined IG back in November 2010, as a tattoo artist it was GREAT advertising and there rapidly became a growing tattoo community on there. The popular page often had three or four photos with tattoos on them and IG has brought me a ton of business, as well as helped me create some AMAZING friendships, but the downfall of IG this year has been heart wrenching. I feel the need to try and break ground elsewhere, far away from a popular page filled with photos of One Direction, nail art and ‘selfies’ of 15 year olds.

Thanks for starting this community, I look forward to being a part of it!

Hi @nandoolmos83​ - we don’t have an instagram integration yet unfortunately - we do let you find twitter and facebook friends, or from you contacts. Check the sidebar for the settings gear in the bottom left.

You guys should add more filters!

@SandersAK​ - where can I change my email address used when I registered? I know I have been saying too much but it would be good to be able to change the username as we are at IG.

My areas for improvement so far are: 1: the tagging people system. I do like with other sites/apps that after @ it will bring up names so you don’t have to remember the whole thing verbatim. 2: the text on photos is cool but it really interrupts the photo. Would be nice to have a way to hide it. 3: a feature people likes about flipboard when surfing iG was you could tap the photo and zoom/maximize it. Of coursethis wasn’t possible on the IG app itself. I myself do not care about filters but I could also see that as being a want for broader marketability.

Also, is there somewhere centrally where we can see future plans so were not suggesting things that may already be in the works? Would help cut down your time dedicated to replies.

I’m liking this app so far. I was looking for an app that was more focused towards artists. Personally I think there’s an empty space there in the market. We already have Facebook+Instagram+twitter to tell people what we’re doing and eating at all hours of the day. I like the idea of a phone app for the artist community to share our work and connect with others. We’ll see what happens with this :)

I’ve told everyone about Backspaces. This is so great for brands like mine.. I can show a collection in 1 story instead of pic after pic.. Work out the tweaks but I here I Love this app!!!!. #ZooHigh​
